Watership Downs welcomes you to our first-ever Champ Camp to be held Monday through Wednesday. The session is geared toward more experienced and committed riders. While increasing their skills and knowledge, we will make memories that last a lifetime.

In addition to multiple and various riding lessons and some personal cross training, we will spend a significant amount of time on unmounted lessons and horse management.

We are planning a Tent City for two nights with a campfire and the Legend of Periwinkle experience :-)

And we will, of course, have plenty of time to relax, cool off in the pool and play Ninja.

Riders need to be at Starter Level or above please. Camp fee is $300 and does not include the cross-country schooling fee.

Champ Camp includes:

A minimum of two riding lessons per day

At least one cross country schooling

A wealth of unmounted learning

Some cross training and yoga

Time for fun in the pool and by the camp fire

Beginner Horse Show

3:30 PM on Friday

To wrap up the week, there is an actual schooling show that takes place on grounds beginning at 3:30 in the afternoon. This is fun but NOT REQUIRED! The show is judged with ribbons. Levels vary from poles on the ground through preliminary height show jump courses. There are also a few different dressage suitability classes.

There is a Lead Line division for siblings or friends who might want to participate.

Many prizes are awarded as well as Champion and Reserve Champion awards for every level.
