Champ CAMP
June 20 -22
Watership Downs welcomes you to our Champ Camp to be held Wednesday through Friday. The session is geared toward more experienced and committed riders. While increasing their skills and knowledge, we will make memories that last a lifetime.
In addition to multiple and various riding lessons and some personal cross training, we will spend a significant amount of time on unmounted lessons and horse management.
And we will, of course, have plenty of time to relax, cool off in the pool and play Ninja.
Riders need to be competing at the Starter Level or above please. Camp fee is $300.
Champ Camp includes:
A minimum of two riding lessons per day
A wealth of unmounted learning
Some cross training and yoga
Time for fun in the pool and by the camp fire

3:30 PM on Wednesday
On Wednesday, Champ Campers may want to participate in the WD Schooling Show that takes place on grounds beginning at 3:30 in the afternoon. This is fun but NOT REQUIRED! The show is judged with ribbons. Levels vary from poles on the ground through preliminary height show jump courses. There are also a few different dressage suitability classes. Classes are $10 each.
This is a great time for everyone to jump courses on grass especially because, 2 days later, we have the Cobblestone TEAM event where we will be show jumping courses on grass.
Many prizes are awarded as well as Champion and Reserve Champion awards for every level.
